[Review] Hiruscar Anti Acne Range

I was part of Sample Store Seeder Program and was able to try out this Hiruscar Anti Acne series of skincare.

About my skin: I have oily combination skin. My T-zone tend to get oily and there are many sebum buildup. However my cheek area tends to get dry. Occasionally, I do get pimples popping up, especially during stress periods, or even time of the months.

This was my skin before trying out Hiruscar

It is not super obvious but there were some breakouts in my skin. I tend to get very itchy fingers and would keep squeezing the pimple, thus leaving some open wounds which leads to scar-ing

Introducing Hiruscar Anti Acne Skincare…

There are 3 products in this range which is the Cleanser, Serum and Spot Gel.

The Cleanser

This cleanser is a clear liquid that washes your face thoroughly without leaving your face feeling dry or tight. My face still feels moisturized after the wash.

4/5 stars for this. I think it works well for my skin type.

The Serum

This serum is applied after using the cleanser.

The serum is very watery and light-weight and it absorbs well into the skin without feeling sticky or uncomfortable.

3.5/5 stars.

The Anti Acne Spot Gel

Lastly, Not all superheros wear a cape, some heroes come in a form of a Spot Gel! :) The 3 step skincare range is not complete with this Spot Gel

Like it’s name suggest, this product is to be used on targeted affected areas.

It has a much thicker consistency which I am not a huge fan of. I have quite put off with putting thick sticky stuff on my face but this is okay once you massage it into your affected areas.

One thing about other acne controlling brands are that they dry out your face badly. So i am pleasantly surprised that this product does not do that.

My skin 1 week later…

Overall thoughts

There is a slight improvement in my skin. The acne scars are still visible though not very obvious. The product has claimed to be able to see acne improvement in 2 days but it didn’t really work for me. I guess it depends on individual skin types but it wasn’t a bad product. It just did not work that fast for me to see the visible results.

Hope you have found this review useful. If you are interested to purchase this range to try out, you can purchase them at Watsons and Guardian. Do let me know if it works for you!
